The objective of Satsankalpa Foundation’s Charity initiative is to promote charitable activities by fostering a spirit of generosity among individuals and the broader community.
Charity fundamentally seeks to promote the essence of giving, and our Foundation is dedicated to cultivating a culture of empathy and compassion. By actively working towards supporting people in need, we can contribute to societal improvement, making a difference one step at a time.
What We Do
Our current focus is on engaging in charitable activities across a few selected areas like food donation, blanket drives, kits for schools, toys donations and supporting any immediate community needs when calamities strike like flood, fire, earthquakes etc. Currently our charity activities occur as monthly, seasonal, annual and on an as needed basis.
Journey so far
As part of our Charity initiatives, we have distributed food and care kits on two distinct occasions to a homeless shelter in Connecticut. Additionally, we provided Chromebooks to a local high school in the Boston area, benefiting underprivileged students. We are dedicated to making a meaningful impact through our involvement in significant projects within our surrounding communities.
Satsankalpa Foundation has engaged in various initiatives, including a collaboration in Wisconsin with the Christmas Clearing Council of Waukesha County, where we supplied blankets, waterproof mittens and gloves, books and an assortment of gift cards for children.
In Oakland, California, we partnered with Homebase, a shelter accommodating 120 individuals over the age of 60, to distribute hygiene care packages.
In response to the Los Angeles wildfires, Satsankalpa Foundation supported our brave first responders by providing essential supplies such as water and protein bars. This outreach allowed us to express our appreciation to the heroic firefighters and first responders who selflessly risked their lives to safeguard the community.
Our future plans
Our Foundation is looking forward to organizing regular charitable activities on a monthly or quarterly basis. We aim to organize seasonal initiatives like blanket drives, school kit donations and toy donations for foster care during the Holiday season. We hope to collaborate with large charitable organizations to provide support to those impacted by natural disasters.
Often associated with terms like clemency, grace, leniency and mercy, Charity is about having a sense of kindness and compassion, emphasizing a spirit of generosity and goodwill and thus reflecting a deeper understanding of other’s needs.
